England in Miniature Tour

One of the tours to England that Martha and I would love to lead again is a tour for miniature and dollhouse enthusiasts. There are so many wonderful miniature shops, collections and exhibitions in England that it is easy to design a tour with this specific hobby in mind. In fact, we did just that in 2012, and a wonderful group of travelers enjoyed many stops in northern England that included miniatures and dollhouses, opportunities to shop, and the big Miniatura Miniature Show.

Another possible miniatures-focused tour would use London as a base and could include either the May or November Kensington Dollshouse Festival, and excursions to Queen Mary’s Dollshouse at Windsor Castle, and the John Hodgson Miniature Rooms at Hever Castle.

Martha and I would be delighted to offer this tour for either May or November, but we would need a confirmed group of at least 15 people before we start the process of booking air transportation, coach company, hotels, and sights. If you are interested in this opportunity to see England in Miniature, please contact us.

  1. my sister and I were planning to make a trip to england about that time next year. we would love to go with other miniaturists. i have a daughter in
england and may want to stay after your tour. is that possible and come home at a later date?
I used to own a miniature store a few years ago. I love miniatures and make many of my own. the tour sounds wonderful.

    • Hi Wilma, No problem with staying in England after the England in Miniature Tour. We will have a Land-Only price so you can make whatever air arrangements work best for you. I hope to have the price worked out very soon and will have a trip brochure ready after that. Please contact me at mwwallace@charter.net with your mailing address, and I’ll get the brochure in the mail to you as soon as its ready. Mary
