Last Chance for England in Miniature Tour

clip_image002

“Last Chance”, etching from Dickens’ “Oliver Twist”, 1838

OK, it’s not quite as desperate as Dickens might have portrayed things in Oliver Twist, but we do feel as though we’ve left a number of people hanging. Those folks who have already registered for the England in Miniature have been waiting patiently to see if the tour would fill with the minimum number of 15 travelers. Unfortunately, we have not yet reached that number, and the deadline date is getting close.

If we hear from enough people who are interested in signing up for this tour, we will allow some extra time to get the registrations in. But we owe it to those who registered early to let them know if they should start making their travel arrangements.

IF YOU ARE AT ALL INTERESTED IN THIS TOUR, WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU BY SATURDAY, JUNE 5, 2010.

You can contact either Mary or Martha via the link from this blog, or you can contact our travel arrangers, Journeys with Jeff, at 1-800-658-7088 or at jeff@jwjeff.com.

The itinerary for the England in Miniature Tour is fabulous, the coach driver is a delight, and the British pound is at its best exchange rate in a long time (making it possible to purchase many more minis at Miniatura). Great reasons to come with us. But you must act now. We hope you’ll be with us this fall.

  1. Hi,

Got the Feb. American Miniature Magazine and saw the add. for Sept. 24th to Oct. 4.

I am in Ontario, Canada and need more info.

    Thanks, Joan

    • Hi Joan,
Thanks for your comment on our blog. I’m sorry to report that due to low registrations the Miniature Tour to England was cancelled. We are now planning our 2011 tour which will be visiting the “Gardens of Ireland”. If you are interested in being on our mailing list to receive the brochure, please contact me at mwwallace@charter.net with your name and mailing address. The M&M mailing list will get the first opportunity to sign up in September, and the tour will be advertised to the general public on the M&M website in the middle of October.
      Hope to hear from you,
      Mary
